Description
So this is going to be my first real endeavor in the prop making arena (aside from little things). I'm also in the process of making an Adam syringe for my girlfriend. I choose this costume because I'm 6'11" and my lady is 5'3" so naturally Big Daddy and Little sister. This is obviously just a set of drawings I did for scale and proportion. let me know what you think.

Great Idea and may I ask to please copy this? I am planning on doing a subject Delta Cosplay for Otakon 2012. This would be beneficial to me having a scale to work off of.

Nahhhh... don't be doubtful, some fiberglass/resin, leather, and canvas and you should be good. Trust me, as a special effects guy myself, things are usually easier than they look if you want to do it bad enough.

Will do. I've got a few buddies that are pretty serious about prop building. Although I do need to learn how to do resin casting...

For the resin casting newbie, my biggest tip would be to buy a Trial kit of Silicone and Resin from Smooth-on.com and do a simple one-part mold (pouring silicone over an item that resides inside a walled box of sorts, leaving the bottom of the item unaffected by silicone). Smooth-on's 1-800 customer service techs are some of the best and most informed people I have ever met. Outstanding training on Smooth-on's part. And Smooth-on is very fan freindly. They understand our wacky projects, because they deal with us fans everyday. The customer service rep will help identify the type of silicone you need and the type of resin you want to use to achieve the final product you want.
Start off with a simple object you want to cast, then once you are familiar with the materials, advance to the next level of resin casting (pressure casting and 2 part molds)
