They are based off of the antlers of the rocky mountain elk that roam wild where I live ^.^

Yes!
I've been on elk farms before too, and up close (as in like 30 yards haha) their antlers are so ginormous and regal. They're beautiful!

Plus elk steak is one of my favorite things XD
