i read over the disc while i was drawing this and a thought crossed my mind.
if this is in anthro society, and theres homophobia, think about it. There would be racism against different types, but it would be on a more drastic scale than in regular society. I mean like

a blue wolf would be considered rarer than a natural colored wolf, yeah but they would be outcasted
and then, if i take my fursona, zek, who is a dragon, would live in a different society than dog and cat anthros
but there there are still social teers within that
life, fire breathers, ice dragons, scaley, fluffy, gay, straight

As I was writing the part about him being harassed I just left it at different 'cause I was like, he's gay, bright blue and has that hair. He's pretty weird.
If anthros are truly just humans in the form of animals, their social system would be worse than ours, with all of the differences they have.
But animals in the wild don't give a damn.
It'd be cool if they could just mingle like regular animals.
But I could see it being segregated. Dogs and cats, being domestic, thinkin' they're cream of the crop. Wild canines/felines being seperated from the domestic animals. And, whoa buddy, mythical creatures would be like gods o.o

but i think about this kind of thing a lot man.
but, the people who ARE furries are really accepting people most of the time
so we have to factor that in
not only are we diverse, but we're okay with differences
but, since it is still a large social group, there are a set few that are assholes
but THEN if we were ALL furries instead of humans, we would be much more judgemental
because ALL of us arent receiving judgement for who we are
just certain classes of furry
like, in dragon territory, zek wouldn't be a higher up. he's fluffy and squeaks instead of roaring. yes, he breathes fire, but thats also common. I, honestly imagine dragons being partially feared and some dragons are like "meh" but others are like "haha what little bitches lets terrorize them"

yes, scales would be a part of it, but only because it gives resistance
homosexuality could vary from species to species
i would imagine dragons having looser beliefs about it, but more domestic species like dogs and cats, and maybe even certain wolves having problems with it
(im making up so many scenarios about this in my head)
dragon culture isnt as vain, but is based on strength in battle or skill with a weapon or magic
Domestic culture is based on appearance and social status (much like our culture)
and underlings (thugs, hellhounds, jungle cats) would be the gangs, and would stick together when given proper reason
seafolk could be the quirky goldfish classmate, to the spirits in the lakes that the domestics avoid. they would be the most wise in these situations
mannerisms toward gender would be different
because some animals have better grips on manners than humans do, sad to say

guy flirts-->guy accepts-->=relationship or something mroe short term
(gender pronouns swappable)
thats just some of that, though, because thats just domestic culture

I think dogs would be more accepting. I mean, just look at the differences in species of domestic dogs.
Domestic cats do have differences but none so drastic as the differences between, say... a Chihuahua and a Saint Bernard.
((Oh gosh, and versions of usually hairy animals... poor babies.))
And then speaking of domestic cats and dogs, I think wolves, coyotes, etc. would be seen as being drastically different to the domestics.
Same with, as you said, the jungle cats.
I can definitely see species banding together with others. Sort of like how people assume elves, dwarves, centaurs, etc. would distance themselves from the others but could still help eachother out.
Seafolk could have so many possibilities in that world... How many animals really see water animals?
The ones that feed on them... Birds, bears, other water dwelling animals...
Now I'm just thinking of different species that fight for mates.
Some animals would just be like humans
One flirting, the other accepting or rejecting
But other animals could potentially be like their feral counterparts and have to fight to be able to court a mate.
