Quite nice.
One thing that comes to mind is a quote from Lion-O of the ThunderCats: "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight." In this, she is a being that sees the world in an entirely different form. Some may question why I say that she can see when they remember that she's blind, but one should also know that your eyes aren't the only things that can take in your surroundings.
Don't see yourself on a high pole, and don't worry about falling. Balance yourself by clearing your mind of such literal visualizations. If they could see what she sees, then they may have a better time upon those poles.
Heheh, anyway, nicely done; quite often am I inspired simply by viewing the workings of others. Thank you for sharing this with us all.
