Very nice choice of colours and design (although I'd have picked a more orange tint instead of the brown/dark red but thats also because its my fav combo and it'd look better with my clothes). I wonder how it'd look with some Indian clothes and such albeit in the right colour. I'd have done different the outer circle of the light blue because they're too distracting. I'd make this less apparent. Well just my opinions ofcourse..!

Those sound interesting! I chose red as the main color because it's my favorite. Also, this was one of my first attempts at beading something like this, so I wanted to keep the colors simple but vibrant. I had started another one with about nine different colors, but I think that one burned up in our old apartment... It was really cool-looking, though. I think I put it in my scraps... I had some pink beads I was trying to use up

I remember how I just plopped this in the flat bed scanner to get the pic lol. It worked really well... like putting it on a light box... teehee

It took a while, in the sense that I was lazy and kept stopping and starting; plus, with seed beads, I always lose soooo many... down the couch and such.... but it was fun! I'm making another, same pattern, all different colors... whereas this one probably used 3 or 4 colors... the one I'm making now uses about 9!
It sounds crazy, but it's fun... especially good for a long flight or something ;}
