I love your choice of bold colours - they happen to be complimentary too which probably explains why this whole thing looks so good. Not to mention your technique! And the composition! Eek - I could go on about it for ages

Everyone should try using oils. yes, its a little expensive, but for the sake of advancing your skills and techniques, its really worth it!!

I am doing my first painting on canvas now. Didnt dare to try oils so i am trying acrylics first. I did about 4 hours and got only 25% done or just a tiny size piece..... grr... i wanted to stab my eye with the brush! i think patience is really really.... nowhere in sight.

I started out with acrylics as well, just to get the hang of it. but I wouldn't recommend sticking with it, unless you truly love it. You should really try oils. it has its benefits

stink? nah, just have to be patient. but when you start using oils, you'll never go back to acrylics!!
