Hi moranox,
Love the feeling of this. Would you mind if I used it for a non-profit music video (a song about depression)?
"Grey" is the song: Stormz.wixsite.com/mstorm

I'm actually quite depressed at the minute and this expresses what I'm feeling, its like I am alone on the island I can't get across to be with others so I have to stay and watch the people I love walk away but on a good note this is a fantastic picture

A depressed person who would have no where to go to in this beautiful artwork.

This one strikes closest to my heart. I was a depressed only child and did not live near other children. The lone swing on a tree... The tree is a totem of mine, and this says all that needs to be said about how i so often feel. Thank you for your gift.

I'm not trying to pretend that I know what I'm talking about, but it seems like the positioning of the light source gives the image a less depressing feel. And it might be the positioning so much as the size of it. I do think the lighting is the explanation for why birdie94 thinking of it the way they did.
Trying to be helpful aside, I enjoy this

haha thank you :]
If anything, I meant for the light source to be used as an element of contrast. Thanks for your thoughts though, it's nice to hear new opinions. :]

I like the surreality. Maybe I'm using that term wrong...
Whatev.
Anyway, this is beautiful. It doesn't exactly say "depression" to as much as it does "simple pleasures" but that could just be me.
Once again, I'm not much for art critiques...

I dunno, really. I think it's because I like that light on the swingset and a seaside swingset just sorta made me feel happeh.
