Once there was a boy named Tyson. He was very apathetic. One day he decided that he was bored and got his demon friend to make a clone of him to do stuff for him. All of the clone's wants, desires, and will power would be amplified so that it would be motivated enough to do the things Tyson should have been doing himself. So the demon friend did it, making sure Tyson knew all the precautions that would come with. Tyson just waved them off, ignoring what his friend told him.Β
The clone was a great success. A happier, motivated, almost enthusiastic version of himself. He thanked his friend and went back home to play more video games while his clone followed behind. Getting home the clone did the dishes, laundry, cleaned Tyson's room, the whole bit, while Tyson relaxed. Why hadn't he thought of this before hand?Β
Days passed and the clone continued doing as they were supposed to, they even went to school for the boy. Meanwhile, the gamer soon made his way though all his games, finding himself once again in a state of perpetual boredom. What was the boy left to do?Β
He lay on the couch as his copy came through the front door like usual, setting school books down, and glancing over at the original. For the first time in weeks, the clone spoke to Tyson, or rather at Tyson when he said, "I'm bored."
Tyson flinched and sat up, dumbfounded. "What?"
"There's nothing to do," the match started, "everyday it's the same, do chores, go to school, do homework, so repetitive, where's the fun in that?"Β
Tyson rolled his eyes, "Life isn't fair."
The clone came closer, looking down on him, "And what are you supposed to do when life isn't fair to you?"
The original shrugged, "Tell life to fuck off. Then live it the way you want to." Tyson leaned back in his couch chair, scooting away from the clone who was in his personal bubble.
The copy's eyes narrowed. He placed his hand on the couch armrest and brought his face before Tyson's. "And what are you supposed to do when your own clone becomes a better version of you?"
"What?" Tyson was getting irritated as he went to push the duplicate away, but was quickly stopped by the other's hand.Β
"What are you supposed to do when the other you becomes smarter, faster, stronger, betterβ¦" The clone cocked his head. "Hm?"
Tyson glared. "And how would this clone know it was better than the original?"Β
The clone's face relaxed as he stood up. "Just a thought," he mumbled as he walked away.Β
For a long time, that was the only conversation the two had. They continued doing what they had done before, only, something was different. Tension filled the air and Tyson knew that his other had changed.Β
Not too long later, his friend from school texted him, angrily asking what he was thinking when Tyson blew him off, then finding out he was spending that time making out with Gerard. Tyson's eyes widened and they danced with fury as the copy walked through the front door. Promptly standing up, he stomped over, slamming his hand by the head of his look-alike.Β "What the FUCK have you been doing?!"Β
The clone half glanced at Tyson, "What?" he said, uncaring.Β
"I said--" Tyson stopped when he saw the clone's neck, shocked at the hickey he saw.Β
The clone now turned toward him and let a smirk slip when he eyed Tyson's neck. "You have them too."
Tyson's hand shot up to his neck, realizing why it had been aching. "H-How--"
"I was wondering when that'd start happening; us experiencing the same thing. It was one of the things that friend of yours told us would happen eventually." The cocky replica lifted his hand to his mouth, watching Tyson's face as his bit his own thumb. Tyson's cringed at the pain his own hand felt when the look-alike bit down harder before letting his hand drop away. "What I wonder is: what if we ended up doing the same thing at the same time?" He paused as his words started to sink in, Tyson gasping when he felt something brush against his crotch.Β
Tyson quickly backed away, about to turn as he blurted out a loud 'hell no.' The duplicate just moved forward with him, not letting Tyson talk when he grabbed the back of his neck and his waist, pulling him close and violently kissing him.Β
Tyson ripped his face away and grabbed him, trying to shove the other boy away, but the clone was right: he was stronger than him. Tyson's failed attempt made the copy laugh. "It'll be interesting to see what happensβ¦"
