So why don't I see enough alignment charts based on "firefly"? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. This is a *really* quick and dirty pastiche I made for me and hopefully for you as well.

I disagree with quite a few of these.
You're right about Book, River, the LN guy, and Simon, but the rest, not really. Β Mal is chaotic good, Wash is neutral good, The Operative is lawful neutral, Jubal Earlie (sp?) is lawful evil, Sapphron is more chaotic neutral than evil... I would put Jayne as netral evil, Mr. Universe as netural, and The Revers as chaotic evil.

Actually the Operative is more Lawful Neutral as He does what he does (or Believes to be) for the Alliance for the greater good (as far as he knew), He's a follower of the law and his quote which you have down, fits a Lawful Neutral individual then an Evil one as he's statement meant he knew he did evil but if others (innocent) are happy and safe because he killed a bunch of innocent people then so be it and he acknowledges that in the perfect world he helps build through his killing he will have no place in it because of what he does (what made him stop hunting the crew at the end is when Mal shows him the evidence that the Alliance wasn't the Big Good to the Universe as he thought they were being responsible for the massacre of an entire planet and the reason the Reaver's exist in an early attempt to try to control people that went wrong), A Lawful Evil Individual would never do anything that would put their place of power in danger, never.
Lawful Evil is someone who uses the Law to get what they want (Like a Corrupt Politician for example) and can be a huge user of Loophole abuse just like some Lawful Good individual, Basically folks like Lex Luthor who are Villains with Good PR with the unknowing Public or villains who do whatever they want because the law can't touch them as they've insured they've broken no laws
Plus Shepard Book is more of a Neutral Good then a Lawful Good
Though you have Mal's alignment as True Neutral down right

Brilliant, kinda expected Niska to be lawful evil, but the Operative works better.

I think Niska does what he does for profit. The Operator is just one evil motherfucker.

Well, he does what he does because he wants to build a better society, so evil is a bit of a simplification.

Pretty good, the ony one I was iffy on was shepard book's. But maybe because I always felt there was more to him than just a preacher. Anyway, good job!

They are too insane to be considered evil.

nice. though i kinda wanna switch NE and CE. the bounty hunter had... some issues. though mabye Niska would be a better example of CE. and Safron (or well, whatever name she wants to be called today) is very NE. she will do whatever she has to... for her own personal selfish gain.
