I spent so much time on this... And now I think I'm gonna have to re-do it XD I'm REALLY bad at drawing dolphins digitally. I almost always need to sketch them on paper first in order to get their anatomy right... Plus, his colors are a little too dark for my liking... This will have to do for now XD I'll probably update this sometime soon though...

Taking a break from my little sketch thingies to work on this I donated blood today and I'm really tired and I wasn't in the mood to draw anything other than personal stuff, sooo... That's what I did

It's the updated reference sheet of Jericho, my Pacific White-Sided Dolphin character, and the main character of my up-and-coming comic that is not yet named I DO want to give a huge thank you real quick to ~KheWolf for throwing some possible titles out there ^^ I really REALLY liked a lot of them!

Jericho is 6.5 years old and 5.5 feet long. After doing research on this species, that's JUST under the average age/length they reach sexual maturity. In human years, Jericho would probably be about 13 or 14

And his markings are not EXACTLY what they'd look like on a real animal. I simplified/stylized them a bit to make him more identifiable amongst the other animals in my story (even though he's one of the only Pacific White-Sided Dolphins I'm going to show...)

Sooooooo, yeahhh... That's about all I can think of that I need to say about him right now XD I pretty much made this for my own personal reference. I need to make sure I'm consistent with colors, markings, body shape, and personality. His markings are symmetrical on both sides of his body. Unlike a lot of my other characters, he doesn't have any major scars or unusual markings. He has an EXTREMELY overprotective mother (and for good reasons that I'll get into later,) so he hasn't ever really gotten hurt enough for him to have scars of any kind...

... Yup! Let me know what you guys think of him! I'll start introducing the rest of his pod (like his mommy ) sometime within the next few weeks.
