This doesn’t seem very plausible. I mean: A rabbit as a football player? Sure, they could jump, but someone could easily grab hold of the ears of said animal and pull the bugger down, could they not?
I mean, I’m all for being creative and imaginative, but to an extent. A rabbit just doesn’t seem like a plausible or even a good pick for someone to be in a Football league. I can’t even believe that I’m comment on this; it just seems odd that I have to ask why you would choose a rabbit?

I’m not being mean or anything. Just innocently asking how a rabbit could possibly be an exceptional football player?

as far as the ears thing goes i think he would be very fashionable in the NFL right now. You see all the running backs and such with dreads and long hair? In the office NFL rules they are fare game! so players can grab on them all they want! And yet a HELL of alot of players do it. I guess it is a cockness thing, so as far as the ears go, i think Morgan would be fine.
now, this plausiblity factor, i am kind of confused by.
1. In the world of crazy stereotypes, rabbits are very fast and great at jumping, so put him out on the wing and he would be awesome.
2. He is a rabbit.. i am supriced the ears thing was the thing that you point out.. i mean.. he would only go up the the ankles of other players, wouldn't be able to pick up the ball, and lets face it, not even be able to understand the rules of NFL.

And for the 'exceptional football player' thing. He is clearly in the St Louis Rams kit. We have no exceptional players XD

Let me explain my comment first, before I decide to respond to your comment.
I saw this on someone else’s favorites. It seemed odd to me, ‘cause of the constant fur-sona\furry\sonic related are on deviantart, I finally felt compelled to ask what is going on in some of the pieces.
What I meant by not plausible, is: You didn’t give us any information on this male and\or female rabbit. So, I jumped the gambit and decided to actually try and guess my way through the comment. You didn’t say if this bipedal rabbit was human-size (Roughly around five feet, four inches) or if it was some weird, talking and walking, bipedal rabbit that is around the same size as a regular, garden destroying rabbit that is usually the target of much harden related injuries (I.E.: Shotgun or pellet gun aimed at the cabbage stealing bugger).
See, I don’t watch very much football, as I don’t watch very much T.V. and usually end up playing football with a group of friends (You know, less T.V. and computer, more physical activities). And I never really know that tid-bit about hair, as I always thought you were forced to either get it cut or to have it tied up and\or under something before you put your helmet on. You know, to cause less game-based injuries during the course of the match.
I’ll reiterate what I said already: I’m all for being creative and imaginative, but to an extent.
A rabbit really isn’t that fast if you compare it to various other animals. So, if this creature\fur-sona or whatever is the size of a regular rabbit, would it not get squashed? I’ve seen a few rabbit dart out of their burrows near the woods that I live close to and they’re constantly getting killed due to pets, human actions, some yard tool or various other items. So, as you can see… That rabbit is surely to be trampled, or at the very least, injured and retired from Football on day one.
And again: It really doesn’t make sense. I mean, it could be that I’m not a furry\sonic-lover or whatever you folks are grouped into these days, but seriously; a rabbit just doesn’t make sense. If you’re going play football and be some sort of animal, why not an elephant or a rhino?
Least you know that you’ll survive.
Now on to your reply…
1. Crazy stereotypes? What? Why be stereo typical? What happened to originality? Wasn’t that the point of this website? And a rabbit could just jump about a yard, so going by an international yard, that’s about three feet… Most guys in the NFL are quite large in both weight and height. Not know the supposed type of rabbit that you have, let’s say the snow-shoe can run at 27mph and a jackrabbit can run around 45mph, that isn’t quite fast and with the amount of players on the field, the rabbit would be quite confused as to try and find a way away from all the hustle and bustle going on. I mean, instinct would surely kick in, no?
2. Yes, I know he’s a rabbit. I was trying to not be what some people call a bigot and come out and judge you right on the spot, due to whatever your style is. But seeing as this isn’t your art, I had no right to fully judge the image due to it being a rabbit, so I figured that I’d just nitpick at the fact that ears (and long hair like you pointed out) do seem like a bit of a personal health problem when playing on the field. You know being pulled or taken down and then probably trampled on by some 300+ lbs fully grown, adult, human male.
Now, like I said: I don’t watch Football that much, due to actually playing it instead of being some mindless watcher of the electronic box. So, I’ll take your word that the St. Louis Rams do suck. And I apologize for being confusing, it just puzzles me that people would either want to be some bipedal animal or even fall so hard for such characters from some random game\animated series.
I was probably trying to satisfy my own curiosity of why you would choose such a combo for an image.

well the only reason that i did choose that combo is because morgan is my most popular character, and i now like american football XD that is it. dont really need more reason.
He now isn't an american football player in his story, it is just this picture. I am a Rams fan, and my favourite player is Steven Jackson ( number 39, like on the picture ), so i combined my character with it. No reason, no sense. Perfect for my gallery XD
Btw, i think ( but maybe wrong ) furry is the wrong word for me. I just like sonic style drawing :3 I dont find it sexual like some people do on here
