Description
Fireteam Alpha was the designation given by Admiral Lord Hood for a team of ODSTs that were stationed in the ruins of New Boston during the early stages of the attempted Invasion by the Galactic Republic. Although many of its members were killed or wounded as the war dragged on, many of them were rescued by Blue Team and various sangheili and escorted safely to friendly lines. Fireteam Alpha was then reorganized into a protection detail for UNSC ambassadors during a peace conference between the Galactic Republic and the UNSC. A radical terror group would disrupt the conference by releasing spores into the room where most of the team was killed or infected by the Flood.
