Description
This is my entry for 's contest. This is a rushed piece I did to replace the one that got ruined from before. Not quite as fluffy and romantic as I had originally intended, but I was basing this more along the time when Camina(the male Mithra) and Serileth(the female Mithra) first meet. I tried to do something serious, but knowing me, that didn't happen.
;; If you have seen any of the skits that and her boyfriend have done, then you'll know why she's chasing him.You'll also know what's up with that Behemoth in the back, too. XD
Done in prismacolor archival ink pens and prismacolor markers. The background sucks really bad because I have to get up for work in about six hours, and I really don't want to bother with it right now. The pic, from initial sketch to when I decided "screw this I'm uploading" took about six and a half hours, not counting my procrastination. I've gotten so slow at this sort of thing...

It was the best part about drawing this picture, let me tell you. XD The skits the pic was based on were hilarious, so I tried to incorporate the "DO NOT WANT D:" that Camina was expressing in one of them.

Yeah, I don't remember if you had actually linked it in a post, or if I looked it up myself online, but I found it at Youtube. I saw the first skit, as well as the judging that followed (where you both got a low score from one judge because of the intro movie you used, which was also really well made, I must say). I saw the second skit too, but the video for it wasn't as good as the one for the first one. They were both rather funny, though. XD I kind of feel sorry for Camina sometimes when I watch them.
Heaven forbid he walk into Windhurst or the Mithra homeland. He wouldn't make it out alive. XD

Originally I was going for something along the lines of "nyoro~n?" for the Behemoth's expression, but that didn't seem to really fit in the scheme of things. Ah, if only a Behemoth could express itself so in the actual game, then I think more people wouldn't mind dying by it's hand... paw, thing. XD Doing Camina's and Serileth's expressions were the best parts of the drawing process.
I don't think I did that well on the armors, but it was easier drawing THF and BST AF2 armor, probably because it's much simpler than, say, DRG AF armor.
I'm glad you liked the coloring, because I was rushing it so bad when I realized it was past midnight. XD I almost opted not to do the highlights with the gel pen until I decided I probably wasn't gonna sleep much anyways, and it'd only be ten or so more minutes anyhow.

There are some things you can't buy with a Mastercard. For everything else, there's Manthra. Buy one now, and sell it for a high price at your local AH! They sell like HOTCAKES during the right time of the month.

Mayakov is like, the best character. Ever. XD I once told my best friend, who has that character model, that I was going to find a way to replace the entire male Hume populace idle stance with Mayakov's. He cried. XD

Mandy are so cute though! I lovemaking giant trains of them in the past since they don't have to be hitting you for it to work. XD

I really can't wait until I get to the portion of the game with Mayakov in it. It'll be a while, but I know I'll love his character. His idle pose is just so sassy!

My chocobo is supposed to hatch any day now, either today or tomorrow, so I'm really excited! I'll have to shamelessly promote her awesomeness through crude doodles and post them to the internets under the guise of arts, like what all good parents do.
How do you make the Mandy train? Do you just get really close to them and walk away? I never really understood that, but that's probably because I keep killing the mandies. Not that I'm a violent person or anything, oh heavens no. >.>

Pretty much. So long as you're not sneak/invised and walk in front of them. If you walk out of their spawn range they'll lose interest though. Even more fun is if you have the "Baban's traveling companion" title. Not only is that quest hilariously fun, but it makes all following Lycopodium use a regen ability on you. I did it for my DNC. Went and fought them, but I'd have like, 5 following me. So while I was beating the crap out of one of their brothers, they were healing me. XD

Oh, fire doesn't even cover half of what he's on. I mean that in a totally good way. He's so hot he sets people's pants on fire, except they don't even realize this. That, or he's sneaking fire ants into their pants somehow.
I'd love to see screen shots of that, whenever it should happen. XD
I've got two other eggs, so I can raise more, but I am a poor and cheap Mithra, so I'll only do it one at a time, I think. There's a neck piece in the game that dresses you up as a baby chocobo? I'M ALL OVER THAT LIKE WHITE ON RICE. Or rather, I find the idea fascinating, and will most likely look into it in my spare time. >.>
That sounds like a fun quest that is relevant to my interests. XD I'll have to look that up later when I have the chance.

Oh it's so true! And the fact that I'm head over heels in love with a guy who has the same PC has nothing to do with any of it. (Actually, most of my male friends are gay and I think that has something to do with it XD)
I will share, should I ever figure out how to do it =D
My first egg, which produced a green choco whom had been ironically named OliveParfait was from the quest in Jeuno, second was gotten by getting choco cards from his two black chocos. And yeah. I want it so bad!!! But you have to win one of those really hard choco races, so your choco has to have both high endurance and strength and such. And it costs a lot of money and takes a lot of attention to get there.

awesome colouring and detail! ffxi is a game i always wanted to play

XD Thank you! I was really rushing on the coloring, so I'm glad you and other folks seem to like it. FFXI is a fun game to play, but it can be really tough if you don't have a friend who's already been playing the game a while. There's a lot of stuff to learn, and it requires more patience than the average MMORPG. I've found the community to be more friendly than some other ones I've visited before, like a few of the ones I went to for Maple Story.

Yeah, FFXI is definitely not as newbie friendly as other MMO's out there, but I find it to be more satisfying when I play it with friends, probably because I am playing it with friends. XD When I'd play games like Maple Story, I'd always solo, and after a while, it'd get lonely. Then, the first people I'd interact with would be a stern reminder on why I always solo play. XD
I think I just made around 10k at the AH the other day, and I was so proud of myself, even though I know it isn't much at all. The little things just feel really fulfilling, until I see the price of the set of armor I want from the AH. >.> Then I go back and farm some more. XD
Well, I didn't really start to rush until had to color the background. You'll notice that the colors are flat and uneven, particularly in the grass. XD I never was good with backgrounds, and am amazed I even bothered to draw one.
I almost always start rushing when I see the end of the drawing over the horizon. XD I just want to finish it so bad after working on it for four hours or so nonstop that I don't realize until I scan it that I forgot to color something.
And then I want to bash my head against my keyboard. XD

i've never played maple story 
if i ever get the chance to play ffxi then i would so play one of those little tiny cute people. i forgot what they are called U.U; i play a gnome in wow so you can see my trend of picking small cute stuff hehe XD

Maple Story is cute and highly customizable, and is somewhat fun because it's a side scrolling MMO. However, I would not really recommend it because a lot of the folks I have interacted with on it were really unpleasant and immature. That's not to say all of them are, because I've met some wonderful people on there, but after having an eight year old ask me how to get a credit card to get cash items and whine to me on how she wanted my items and money? Yeah, not playing that for a while.
I've never played WoW, and don't really plan on it, mostly because I don't like focusing on more than one MMORPG at a time. I tend to confuse myself that way. XD I have a lot of friends who do play it, though.
You mean the Tarutaru? They're adorable. XD They actually used to creep me out until I interacted with Tarutaru NPCs in the game. Didn't quite go all the way over and accept them until I saw the child NPC of their race. Too cute for words, I tell you. <3
Gnomes in WoW are also adorable. XD One of my friends who plays WoW showed me a couple of screen shots of her gnome character when I was trying to draw art of her.
If you ever do decide to play FFXI? Try the free trial first, to get a feel for it. Also make sure that you're choosing a good server. Most of them should be fine, but there are a few of them that I've heard of where the people were not so friendly.

wow! thankyou for all the advice! there are tons of immature people who play wow too @_@ you get more on pvp servers than pve. i guess theres idiots in games everywhere U.U; when i played rose there was also alot of immature nasty people. and there would always be people teasing others in general which is a shame because it's such an adorable game if you want to play solo ^_^
