I quite like how the big stone lion turned out ... not quite as happy with the rest of it, but it's probably as good as I can make it. The lioness' name is Rrliss. Funny how these creatures of mine always seem to have bigger breasts when I paint them than when I write them ... but what else would you expect from a guy?

I'm finding that rather than draining my urge to write, painting is actually enhancing the urge to write, so expect more in coming weeks.

Edit: Update a colour-corrected version 13/5/06. Made the stone sphinx a bit less dominant and tweaked the background so it wasn't as blah.
