^_^ I think it looks great. The hand is the only problem. Everything else is really good. The anatomy looks right, and I really like the clothes. Your story characters look great.

Okay. Thanks for telling me. *smiles slightly* I understand. I feel the same way about things I come up with. I still think that Riku would look good in that outfit instead of the KH versions. ^_^ He would look more adolescent and amazing in those colors than the ones from the game, in my oppinion.

I really don't like Sora being compared to kingdom hearts characters. He's my original character, and just because he has white hair everyone talks about KH. It's not about not sharing, it's just not the right time.

I appologize for that... It's just that I'm obsessed with silver-haired people. ...^_^'... At least I'm not saying Kadaj. I have a few OCs that look similar to KH characters too, and I get ticked off at those who say that Kuraj is the same guy as the Riku in the game, when they're from two different dimensions. Plus, Kuraj is more of a military guy than a Disney-Squeenix crossover character...-_-... KURAJ IS NOT RIKU!!!!!!!!!! *hits the Kingdom Hearts character (brown spikey guy you hate) with an over-large book* HE'S A FLIPPIN' MILITARY GENERAL FROM THE "ALTERNATE DEAD FANTASY" COMIC I CAME UP WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see anything wrong with your anatomy except the right hand, but I understand that those are hard to draw, I've actually forced my friends to become my hand models just so I can get some practice on it. just a thought ^^

GGGRRRRR...Why do you want me to teach you if you're not gonna listen to me anyways? I told to copy first. COPY! That way you can learn proper anatomy by observing and PRACTICING proper anatomy, not just coming up with your own random stuff which is improper anatomy!!! >< =_=

.......uh.....no. I know my stuff isnt correct, but his stuff isnt either. Its not perfect. Or automatically correct. Because if you look closely his art look its like a person being stretched too far. I admit his coloring technique is amazing, but something about his art is off. Im sorry, but as an artist and you cant realize that you are a failure.

you lack the knowledge to judge. If you can draw, then you know anatomy, and you will know what good anatomy is, which is not what you do but what he does. Don't you think there is a reason that he has over thousands of favorites per drawing compared to your 0-15 favorites? Just because you don't like his style doesn't mean his not good.

um i have every right to judge just as anyone else. You dont have to know art like art. you cant say i dont have knowledge of art, because Art is all opinion, and i say i dont like his art. you can say you dont like my art, ok. Like i care. Because its only your opinion. And just because he has a lot of page views, doesnt prove anything. If page views make an artist a good artist then some people who have stayed here longer than him or some one with really funny but crappy stuff on their da must be a really good artist too, but they are not. Its all opinion. You cant prove yourself right. I can draw, in fact any one can draw. Its all how you judge art. I thik theres two worlds of art. The art that you just follow the rules and try to do things right, or the art that you just follow whatever you feel and draw whatever you want.
I think i'm number 2. I dont really care if you disown me as your pupil either. I realize that i have to find my own way of art. Because copying others is just not my style, nor will it ever be. So if i want to improve i'll improve at my own pace, and see my own mistake along the way.

right, now didn't I tell you this before you asked me to teach you? I knew this would happen, since this always happens but a "no" is never enough, you kept begging and I had to say "yes" to show you that they need learn on your own.
and I never said anything about page views, I was talking about favorites. But either way, there is good and bad art that's why only some people, not everyone, can make a living out of art. I hate to burst you idealistic little bubble but in the real world, telling yourself you're good while everyone else doesn't think so is unacceptable. Art is just like anything else, you can't just do it, you have to it do it well like in Mr.Perez's class; you think his gonna give you an A if you believe you did well? There are no strict rules for art but there are basic standards and there are different standards for different kinds of art. For you, who likes anime, you need to get the basic anatomy right, if you prefer abstract art, then it doesn't matter. And as for anatomy, there are rules! You can always tell yourself that's "it's okay, it's art, either way I do it, it'll still be good because there is no bad in art." but you'll just be escaping from the fact that you need to improve. You can say you don't like his style but you can't say his anatomy is wrong because it's not. Anatomy is anatomy, there's no different interpretations of it. A head is about 1/7 to 1/8 of the body length, drawing a disproportioned head that is 1/20 of the body doesn't make it right just because it's "art" (its okay with certain styles, but not with anime, excluding chibis)

i may not anatomy as well as you do, but his anatomy doesnt seem perfect or right to me. Something about his art just seem off to me. I dont really care if hes a good artist in your opinion. I've seen better.
I know for a fact that i need to improve my art. i'm not fooling myself saying i dont need anatomy, but i'm not going to rush myself to be perfect cuz it doesnt happen over night. and i dont want to copy someone who i dont feel like its good enough.

well no duh there's better. there's always a better artist. For someone who doesn't understand anatomy, you can't really say he's anatomy is bad because it's not. Maybe when you know more, you'll appreciate how good it is.
I've seen both and this is why you are ignorant. Their anatomy is okay but not as good as Wen-M's. You may like their styles better but as far as knowing true anatomy goes, they're not as good, especially the first one. I've seen his stuff and he needs A LOT of work. I know he is the kind of people who can copy but can't do much without a lot of reference. The key to understanding is by looking at specific details such as the hands. The second person is much better but there are still something strange about the ways the limbs join together. As for Wen-M, most of his anatomy is flawless, plus he is capable of drawing something that now of the other two have exhibited which is dramatic perspective. Only people with superb understanding of anatomy can pull that off.

Like I've said before, there is no personal perspective in anatomy, what's right is right, wrong is wrong, a dislocated limb is dislocated, there's no "different interpretation" of that. It has nothing to do with my view or your view, if you can't distinguish right or wrong anatomy, then that's ignorance. You need to better your observational skills. That's why most professional artists start with COPYING from real life objects. This practice allows them to learn proper anatomy and lighting but since they are copying, they have to observe what they are drawing and therefore improve their observational skills. That's not the only way to learn but that's the usual standard way, which is what I told you to do but you refused. You can learn your own way if you want but statistically, you have less chance of success. Just like how Mr.Perez teaches ceramics, there's his way or your own way but you know that his way is the right way and your own way will usually result in your piece blowing up, cracking, or looking just plain ugly.

um ur technically wrong about that. Mr. perez only lead us and teaches how to to do it, but doesnt mean we actually follow it. Along the way we understand what hes doing, but we do it our way, cuz in the end we are on the wheel making our own stuff, not him. So it still our own stuff.

Still, you can't just do it your own way willy nilly without basic rules such as consistent thickness and no air bubbles. That's what anatomy is, it's consistency and there is no personal opinion about something like that. It's either wrong or right.

I think that the anatomy is good. I don't see anything wrong with it really. Except maybe the right hand, though I don't know what you can do to make it better since I suck at hands myself =.=; Maybe if you'd shown a bit of the back of the hand.
