Ah yes. Calion and Valoryn.

You see, Cal was a very popular bard, who received a lot of attention. Mostly female attention. He did enjoy it, for a while, but in time, it became overwhelming and smothering. He fled to a new life, joining an all male order of paladins. Their vows of celibacy seemed like just the thing he needed. However, the elf soon discovered that he simply lacked the physical strength to move around in heavy armour, let alone doing any fighting with a sword and shield on top of that. Chanting while wearing robes seemed much more his thing, so after a few months, he joined the priesthood, who pretty much held the same rules and vows.

It did not take long before he discovered that being exclusively around men without the release of a giggling girl in his bed, was far more distracting. He tried to convince himself that it was simply withdrawal, but it only got worse, to the point where he admitted it during a confession.

Long story short, Valoryn came to the rescue with extra, private tutoring (or rather.. quality time) in the abbey's orchard. Which of course could only go well for so long. When a nosy acolyte came to check (or spy, who can tell?) on them and caught them kissing, Calion and Valoryn made a run for it together.
