Am I a horrible human being for wanting Vanessa to be utterly humiliated in front of the entire school while Ariel is revealed to be the true voice? While we won't see Scuttle, I'd love to see something similar to Vanessa accidentally breaking the voice recorder if you go that route. It'd be like the sea shell in a sense.
Either way, I can't wait to see how this resolves.

Something I'd imagine Vanessa doing to blackmail Ariel into singing for her is maybe threatening to tell Eric something about Ariel (that isn't true), but taunting her with how Eric won't believe Ariel if she tries telling him what's really going on.

But she did mess with his fancy clothes so if I was him, I'd mess with her makeup or hair.
His clothing was expensive and of fine material, and she probably stand them for life with her grape juice.
Her hair due should get at least ruffled, or he could carry her to a trash bin (nothing too disgusting maybe a recycling one, with paper) and dunk her in it

I don't really see these three as true friends, I think they all have a motive to be together. Like, Vanessa only needs them to be her little lackeys to make herself more popular, and Drizella and Anastacia only want hang out with a popular girl like her, also to make themselves more popular. Or that's just I feel about their "friendship".

It's a good think the readers of this comic isn't actual part of it or Nessa would be lynched by now and Eric and Ariel locked in a broom closet until they talked things out..
