The dance of Rachel and Hakim----
Since I first saw Netherfield ball scene in 2010
I wanted to be able use that colouring and texturing technique.
So in a way this is a small homage to picture I just love looking at.
This is the third try for the Phoenix. I have made a good number of tries since 2014 to make this comic but haven't been happy with the dancing.
This time I managed to get the feel I wanted in the dancing and the flames. and i finally found a project where i could try out that lovely technique.
I've spent so many hours on this I lost count. 20+?
This picture means a lot to me.

I love how you've told a story here without even the need for any words. My interpretation is that she falls in love with the guy at the end and that's why she really comes alive and is beautiful. She obviously really likes dancing.

For me asexual means aromantic, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it in context in a film or book or whatever. I just don't want it for myself. I'm a sucker for any kind of love story. I'm not fussy who between, whether it's romance or platonic or what. That's what I want to write about so....
