I really like the catch and the idae and the colors are also great! but the composition is problematic in my idea - the cut in the right doesn't fit...

thanks for your comment...Yes, I would preferred to have the whole whreck isolated, but in the right there were more ships...this is only one of about 6-7 whrecks which are all togheter there, so I couldnt find a better angle.
The cut in the right also bothered me a bit ....
thanks for yout suggestion.

great capture of the boat- so old and rusty now, as well as a beautiful shot of the wonderful coloured water. it looks so warm and inviting

Yeah. It is lovely. We didn't go snorkeling this time (too cold) but did a couple of years ago. Great little reef fish there. (Tempted to get an underwater camera and go back in the summer. )

I love the stark contrast of the gritty, dark ship against the beautiful ocean colors thought is the rust contaminating the water or is the oil D
anywho, love the look of this. Very nice shot! *favs*

Up to a certain point you're right about the fact that this whrek certainly does not belong here. But fortunately I had the chance to dive around there. In fact there are a whole group of ships there (more pics will follow). Under the water surface this ships have become a whole habitat for many riff fish. They are covered by corals and have been integrated into the fauna. So, the contaminating factor fortunately is not as high as you might suppose.
There was no oil in the water. This ship has been here for more tahn 40 years.

oh, *nods* I'm glad to hear that the environment is using it, I was just concerned but it sounds like it's actually helping the fish I bet it was a lovely dive too
Do you have any shots from that?

Unfortunately not...I have no underwater-camera. Well, I'm not such a skilled diver for taking good underwater photos as well...I just enjoyed the original visual effect
