Damn. The tour company LIED. They said it was outside of Vienna. How sad. Oh well. Glad you caught that . Though, being Austrian yourself I suppose that helps. Hehe.

The flowers are pretty. I took some of the roses but I didn't post them up here yet.

Hm. The picture wasn't really meant to be artsy. I took it as a sort of random momentary thing. It isn't even properly aligned or anything. I should probably play with it a bit on PS and see what I come up with. Thanks for the comments .

hehe well, it takes me about 15 minutes to walk there from my home, I think.
Its definitive in Vienna :]
Maybe at the time it was built it was outside Vienna, then the city expanded and now its inside, or maybe they were talking about that its not part of the inner city (=1st district with the Stephansdom, I guess you've seen that ugly thing . As far as I know, the 1st district was first called something similar to Vienna and then expanded, though u can still find the old wall they built and on the top of some parts of the wall travels now the metro, though I'm not 100 percent sure and I think that Schloss Schönbrunn was built Vienna expanded.)


Anyway, I felt like commenting and the pic doesn't look bad, I think there could come out something cool with the right manipulation.

LOL Is Stephansdom that cathedral?? If it is my brother grabbed my camera and took about 20 pictures inside--I'm not sure why. Some of the faces in it are really creepy for a church. Anyway, that's awesome I've never met anyone from Austria before (and the tour guide didn't count ).

yeah, its that big one with the ugly black/grey facade, and a lot of school classes have to(?) go and collect money for its restauration...
(Most ppl I've seen were about 12-14, maybe u have to go if you are in the "Religious education"-school object, or whats the correct title, or maybe they offer you to go and its a "Idon'twantschool"-thing. I never had to )

But I have to agree that there are some creepy faces, which I like

Did you go all the way up the tower? You have a great sight from there...

LOL. Sure. If you'd like. Hmmm some of the creepy faces are cool but... -creepy-. Hahaha. I guess seeing old cathedrals and stuff is all part of being a silly tourist who doesn't know where to go except for touristy places... like churches... although I must say... you don't see stuff like that in Canada .

Sadly I was lazy and tired and didn't go all the way up the tower ! I think there was a huge lineup or something. You know, tourist season.
