Out of all the pieces in your gallery, this one jumped out at me the most. Out of curiosity, do you still have it, and how much would it cost?

Ohh.. IΒ΄m a bit unorganized with pieces i have not
at hand - itΒ΄s well possible that this piece is still laying around in one of the two gallerys that exhibit my jewelry.
I would sell it for,letΒ΄s say,250 USD -
Thank You for appreciating,anyway !

I know someone mentioned egyptian with the cow horns, but this is definately not egyptian inspired...but actually when I first saw it, the first thing that came to me is venus willendorf figurines. The oldest known goddess figure of these women, the big boobs, big buts, and the head with carving lines like this, or maybe thats all my imagination. lol. Either way, beautiful work. And the moonstone is a perfect match for the whole shape and figurine.

I see the "trilobite" as a torso, the moonstone as a head, and the horns as arms--then again, I do a lot of figurative work...

Wonderfully balanced and proportioned piece.
I would never have thought of combining moonstone and horn, but it works beautifully. Actually I like that the silver is not polished up, it provides some nice contrast to the bone carvings and gives the whole piece a very ancient feel.
Your jewelry just has that: an incredibly old and timeless aspect.

Actually, I think the egyptian vibe is coming from the way they drew cows, with that huge ball between the horns. Anyway, the design is pretty though-provoking (read: confusing ) Is it a bull? Is it a trilobite with horns? Is it an egyptian god with a facehugger killing him?
It's still cool, because trilobites rule.
Have you made a hole for the light at the back of the setting? Moonstones are slightly translucent, so they profit from the backlight, making them glow brighter. Or it could be the dark background or the picture toning the shimmer down.

Thank You for Your comment !
Maybe the design is a bit confusing - or seems to have more than one layer of meaning.
Yes,the back of the setting has a hole.
Mostly I make settings with the backsite open -
For light, for being able to see the back of the stone,
and,i donΒ΄t know why for shure, a stone set in a closed setting feels to me like imprisoned .

Interesting and rather beautiful piece. May I ask, where the hell do you get a piece of mammoth tusk from?

Thank You !
The piece of mammouth tusk I bought on a mineral fair maybe 6 years ago.
Mammouth tusk is still found in great amounts in the
permafrost grounds of siberia.Recently it became very expensive here, because chinese dealers buy most of it for their local ivory-carving industry

it's lovely. I like the Egyptian feel to it, even though there's nothing Egyptian about it. Reminiscent of a scarab.

I often asked me : WhatΒ΄s so egyptian about it ?
Definitely nothing,in detail, but it really looks like.

well, I'd say that the Egyptian feel comes from it having the same shape as some of the scarab amulets. You know, the ones with the wings and the sun disk on it's head? Esp. with the troglodyte where the scarab would be.

Yes the allover-shape is like some scarab amulets.
I think I done it like this, because for me, trilobites have a somehow similar mystic appeal as scarabs.

Two fossils in one! What a bargain.
I like how the trilobite carving is also sort of reminiscent of a face or a mask, as well. It must be the horns that giveit that feeling.

They really have faces.
Some native american tribes used them in their
" false-face " rituals
