The use of contrasting and complimentary colours here is excellent. The yellow and green offset the purple, drawing the viewer's eye to the figure, as well as catching the eye of the viewer. The warm pink in the churning water gives it a sense of energy and life. Using only one tone of most of the picture was a smart call. There's a lot of line work to process so the simple colour scheme ensures the viewer doesn't have to process too much information at once. There's a strong sense of narrative as well, as the eye is first pulled towards the creature by the vibrant colours only to slowly notice the duller figure dangling from the strings. This establishes the creature’s personality before we realise what he's done to his victims.

There's also a fun but sinister tone emphasised by the style. The bright colours and cartoonish detail of the eyes give a sense of excitement and humour that's balanced out by the moody tones of the victims as well as the sharp, harsh lines of the creature. That said I think a bit more negative space would help to give the picture more focus. While the colours do a good job of guiding our eye the volume of detail is still a bit overwhelming. Surrounding the picture with more empty space, particularly in the sky would help things, just to give some space to rest the viewer’s eyes. Other than that I can’t complain. Good work!

Sick dude!

I like the composition a lot, there is a good sense of scale present in the picture, especially the contrast in size between the evil genie looking monster and the corpses dangling from is fingers.

Speaking of scale, the only real issue I would have with this piece is that the corpses are just a little too small and are hard to see when we first set eyes on the picture.

Other than that, I don’t have any problems with this piece. The linework is really smooth and organic. Everything flows well, especially the arms of the big genie with its incessant curves.

On top of that, the choice of colors is well made and even add some depth to the piece. The bright green color of the monster stand out and also automatically attracts the eye particularly when it is put in contrast to the different purple tones of the background.

All in all, I like it very much. There’s a nice psychedelic feel coming out of this piece.

This is great! I love how the guy is rising out of the body, and every last detail is depicted! the colouring is great, and the background really fits the theme! The bodies are hung, which gives it an eerie effect. The gorge is filled with a sinister looking liquid which I'm guessing is poison? The drawing is outlined, which really makes the artwork look great. The title suggests that the bodies are being manipulated? Anyway, as I said, this is a really great piece of art. I'm looking forward to seeing your other pieces of art! Toodles~
