Description
Over the 400 years she spent, waiting to catch back up to her "present", Aerieondra, now Pheta'eras, gradually became comfortable in her new skin. When she finally did arrive back at now, there were several times that she would see her past self, still the Blood Elf priest she once was, preparing to battle the Legion in one way or another. She debated a long while on if she should warn her past self of what was to come, but in the end, she decided not to. Too much had happened. She had been an influence in too many battles as a part of the Army of the Light, saved too many people, turned the tide too many times. What would happen if she warned "herself" of what was to come? What would happen to all the people she saved? What would happen in all the battles she had fought in? Would she even finish her mission of ending the Legion at Argus or would she leave, potentially jeopardizing the fall of the Legion in the process? No, she decided, there is too much at stake; too much to risk. While it hadn't happened to her past self yet, it had already been 400 years for this version of herself. It is best to let things be, and let history follow its course once more. The night the Legion was defeated, there was a party in celebration aboard theΒ Vindicaar. Pheta knew that her past self was only hours away from transformation, and found her on the dance floor. Slipping in front of her, wearing a gown of gold and white, she moved her body in the motions of her new people, inviting a stunned Blood Elf priest to dance. They danced that way for hours, until dawn the next morn, getting to know one another, getting to know themselves. At the end of the event, Pheta gave the Blood Elf named Aerieondra a kiss on the cheek, whispering into her ear, "Good luck on the journey, self." And, with that, she disappeared off into the crowd, leaving a very confused priestess to ponder her words. Just then, Aerieondra received a summons to head up to the bridge of the Vindicaar. Apparently, one of the naaru had appeared there and wished to speak to her. Shaking her head, she stared off up the ramp, further into destiny.*****
This image is the third in the backstory of my new Lightforged Draenei! If you want to learn a bit more about her, or why this Blood Elf is her past self, go check out the first image in this series (warning: NSFW)! This moment in time was brought to life by the amazingly talented who's style looks like she painted it on a canvas. Go check out the rest of her work and thank her for doing an amazing job on this image! I love it!

ThankΒ you so much! I was SO excited to get this final piece! As much as I do enjoy the more "entertaining" images *ahem* I also LOVE getting pieces like this that are true works of art suitable for framing. I appreciate your compliment on my story as well! I have to admit, I am always nervous sharing the backstory I have in my head for characters with the general populace. In game, I have gotten a few snide comments, but overall it's been fine. And people seem to love it here so... WIN! β₯Β

Thank you! And yes, I do read WoW lore. I've read all the books and am eagerly awaiting the release of the new one coming out for BfA. I am also getting ready to dive into the Chronicles, now that all three of them are out.
