Description I don't even know why I'm trying realism again. I suck at it.

But anyway, I decided to alter that scene in Good Burger where Ed jumps on Dexter ever-so-slightly, because you know those two have some serious unresolved sexual tension. I prefer it this way. = P

Nice job! Very nostalgic, makes me miss old nickelodeon. I almost forgot about Good Burger! I went to see it in at the theater! XD I was an obsessed fan when I was a kid. (I liked Kenan and Kel better though) Never thought of Good Burger slash, but it's awesome since I like obscure pairings too. If only I knew about slash back then...

Thanks. Wow, lucky you..! = D That must've been awesome. lol I know, right? Yay for obscure shipping! I slashed subconsciously back then because I didn't know what slashing was. My Mom figured 'kids shouldn't know what gay is'. Pthht on that. 9_9 Knowing would've cleared up MUCH confusion on my part...

I used to make my cousin so mad when we were little by making her barbies kiss eachother instead of Ken! XD That was always fun! Back then, all kissing was gross anyway no matter the gender. XD

MortalAnonymous In reply to MonacoMac [2011-01-14 22:34:00 +0000 UTC]

lol People insisted on giving me Barbies cuz I'm a girl, but I never played the way I was supposed to. There was never a straight couple (lucky me I had two Kens) and because of natural breakage, some became zombies and ghosts and stuff. One knock-off I had came apart super easy, so she usually got murdered. By a ghost. XD Really? I must've had an unhealthy obsession with kissing and stuff; I never found it gross and rather enjoyed making my toys make out. = P

MonacoMac In reply to MortalAnonymous [2011-01-15 03:55:49 +0000 UTC]

I think most kids played with Barbies whether the boys admit it or not... (the term action figure makes it okay XD)

We always had a murder victim too. It was a freaky looking, plastic native-american figurine. The thing had no hands and no head because the dog chewed them off so we attached a baby doll head to it. Games like that are probably were future writers get their start. Even slash writers. lol

I was a major believer in cooties back then! XD Luckliy, now I know that a healthy dose of germs now and then strengthens the immune system.

Well, my brother sure did. He played with them with me, and never cared who saw. In fact, we mostly swapped toys at play time. I took all of his construction toys and he took my dolls.

Oh hey..! My ghost/zombie was a dismembered Pocahontas that lost her head. = ) I just put her hair in a ponytail to make her look like an oni. lol I don't think any child uses toys the way they were intended... Hmm, probably. My brother and I told stories all the time.

I was a pretty perverted kid...my hormones were always on; I never had a 'blooming' session or whatever. I was kind of a freak. >.> I also loved to play in dirt and stuff. Neeever worried about germs, this one. My brother and I had opposite growing patterns; mine resembled a boy's and his, a girl's. According to Mom, anyway.

MonacoMac In reply to MortalAnonymous [2011-01-16 06:27:14 +0000 UTC]

lol Games were more fun then. I think kids don't usually care what other people think of themselves; they are too self-centered with their own needs and playtime.

Well, I suppose that if the girls were slightly more masculine and the boys a little more feminine, then everything would balance out and everyone would be more equal, more in the middle... crazy logic, I know! XD

MortalAnonymous In reply to MonacoMac [2011-01-16 19:39:57 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I don't think so. We sure didn't. = P I liked being different though.

Yeah, balance between the genders would probably solve a lot. There'd be no need for women's rights movements or anything, and we'd relate more. Plus it wouldn't be 'wrong' to wear certain clothes... *sigh* If only gender neutral really existed.

I know I know these people!!! Are they from Nickelodeon?

Dude, this doesn't SUCK! This is awesome! I didn't even knew you drew it at first, I thought it was some realism-artist's work!

Way to go, /-\ lG |E []\[] T []< !! !!

MortalAnonymous In reply to Cartoonivilization [2011-01-13 19:52:14 +0000 UTC]

Good guess! It's Ed and Dexter from Good Burger...or Keenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell (Sue Sezno from Sit Down Shut Up and T-Bone from Clifford.) They were on 'All That!' together in the 90s. It was a Nickelodeon sketch show. They got their own show later, called Keenan and Kel.

Sure it sucks. I couldn't even highlight the lights or bother to put anything outside. The counter colors clash too. I liked this way better on paper. Gee, really? To me, my style's so all over this thing it drips.

Woohoo, l3375p43k! 7h4/\/k5!

Cartoonivilization In reply to MortalAnonymous [2011-01-25 00:55:31 +0000 UTC]

Yay! I was wondering if it was Keenan and Kel, but I wasn't positive! Yeah, and All That! I remember they were like "He's a dude, she's a dude, we're all dudes!" (Didn't Josh Nichols say that?) (Oh, also, I should mention that I love the Drake/Josh pairing, and you should check out the show. They're step-bros.) And I remember watching Keenan and Kel all the time! They cracked me UP, man!! And I remember they had a movie based on the headles horeman...

It doesn't suck! You CRAAAZEH! It looks awesome this way, so I bet it looks brilliant on paper.

I like your style! It's the bomb!

I know the second word is 'thanks'... so you're welcome. But the first word...? Uuuh... 'leetspaek'...? Lol.

That's Ed's little song. = ) "It's time to put hard times behind, get all bad things off your mind. She's feelin' good, he's feelin' good, we're feelin' good yeah". = D Love it. Oh, Drake and Josh? Ew. I didn't know there were gay vibes, but the show looks like just another stupid live Nick/Disney show (don't even remember the company). I don't care if the guy writing it also wrote for Good Burger and Jimmy Neutron. Tell me more and I MIGHT look at it...

Well, ok. Thanks. *knows she's fighting a losing battle*

L33T? Y'know, that language you just typed in? Where you spell in keyboard symbols and numbers? = P Code.

Cartoonivilization In reply to MortalAnonymous [2011-01-25 19:43:57 +0000 UTC]

Haha! That's a fun song.

The show starts off as being just another Nick live-action blah blah show, but it gets much better as the seasons go on. Much slashier, as well. There's one particular episode where Josh decides to stop caring for Drake, because he causes him too much pain. Then Drake goes ballistic, and his life turns upside down. He stays in bed all day, and is merely miserable. By the end of the episode, he's crying as he apologizes selflessly to Josh for his inadequacy (something Drake NEVER does). But that's only the BEST episode, there are many others that are filled with slashiness. I think you really should check it out. It can be an amazing show (at least I think so, but I might be easily impressed, lol).

Haha, you are. I will never consider your art-work bad in any way! All I see is awesomeness.

Hmm... it looks cool! I wanna learn! Maybe you could help me?

MortalAnonymous In reply to Cartoonivilization [2011-01-25 23:32:44 +0000 UTC]

It is. I love it so much I put it on my mp3 player. ^-^

Hmm. I see. Well, I'll give it my usual 3 episode judgement plan. What's the episode called with the break up? I want that one to be on the list.

OH. I need to tell you about a show YOU should watch. I found it while watching Mission Hill in the related section. It's called Undergrads. Ever heard of it? = )

Aw, shucks.

Sure, no problem. I taught someone before. All you do is replace as many letters as possible with different symbols. You can make it easy to read, like 'h3y th3r3', or really difficult, like '/-/3y 7/-/3r3'. There aren't many rules. Add 'xor' to the end of a verb to increase the awesomeness. "3y3 t0t4lly h4xored j00r c0mp." Oh yeah, 'y' sounds are usually replaced by 'j's and 'o's...and spelling with synonyms is perfectly acceptable ('i' and 'eye', etc). And sort of extreme 'cool' misspelling is encouraged.
