I feel like Sakurai isn't happy with Nintendo which is why he keeps punting Mario around with these reveals. Either way, I love him for it. Mario has had it good for far too long.

When Sephiroth was revealed for Smash on December 10th I started freaking out. I never really played any other game franchises aside from Zelda, Pokemon, and Mario but I thought it was nice for Final Fantasy/ Square Enix to have more rep! Still rooting for a possibility of Sora or Crash though.

The reference is from a show called Community. I may upload a version or post a link to a version without the text.
