haven't put up anything for a bit so decided to color up one of the esdeath linearts I had in stock. I think it came out fairly well. lines by and colors are by myself. and esdeath is the lovely badass from akame ga kill. enjoy!Related content

I think all of Esdeath's action post Tatsumi total rejection is just her completely fallen into despair and not even trying to be nice anymore.

ah. not sure. i'm only really familiar with the anime as i never read the book and animewise she seemed to care for him even regardless of his rejections.

She definitely does in the anime, even when he rejected her prior to the execution and afterwards- she still felt a pain in her chest when he died in the anime. I like to think that her attacking Akame in the last episode was just a death wish since she lost the will to live. Being Esdeath, she made Akame fight for it and aggravated her to the point that she had to kill her. She is then happy that she gets to die holding Tatsumi.
Mangawise, once Tatsumi vehemently rejects and overpowers her; she loses to despair and becomes less human with her overpowered abilities stacking up like creating levitation, an entire ice army, a country-wide ice storm and finally an Incursio-esque armor. At the end of the series, she's dying bitter at the world, going absolutely insane and regretting her loss of Tatsumi in spite of the things that justify his hatred of her, including almost killing him in the final battle. She's more pitiable in the manga, while the anime at least has some dignity.Β

mm.. but in the anime she still seems to love him and though she has the death wish, it has to also due to her own side losing. her entire side had been defeated and she is a creature of battle. without it there was little point to push for. but yes, she was sad that he died but didn't falter so horribly as it sounds in the manga. (and that honestly makes me not really desire to read the manga as i have no like for tatsumi) I'd rather not see her tortured and hurt like that with an inability to live on. I rather do like the anime end where she does die with that warrior pride at least.

Yes, she dies in the anime three episodes after the rejection and loses only an arm. However, this rejection leads into over 30 chapters in her gradually losing it to the point, she activates a country-wide storm in spite of Β the full awareness it potentially harm her own allies, her attacks get incredibly crueler than before, she loses one of her arms and two fingers off of her remaining hand and dies by having Murasame impale her through the chest tossed by Akame using Esdeath's own sword to do it. She then dies by shattering herself in ice while Tatsumi now lives as a dragon- who's grown to forget her entirely and her remaining arm has its hand removed by Suzuka, the masochistic Rakshasa Demon, who proceeds to use it as a sex object. Unless things change where its possible to revive her in Hinowa Ga Crush! Then its a very pitiable way for her, even if she was more barbaric in the manga than the anime, to end.Β

doesn't sound like it ended much better for tatsumi. and get, suzuka is still alive? geh. that gives more point to the anime where lesbolt kills him.

In Hinowa Ga Crush! Tatsumi's supposedly going to be get cured of his permanent dragon-esque state in this new country that Akame going to along with curing her own curse from activating Murasame's Trump Card against Esdeath. Hopefully, she's not there to be killed off by the enemies there to hype them up for the new main character, Hinowa to defeat and have to take on Akame's role for finding Tatsumi's cure. Hopefully, Suzuka will end up in the same country and finally die at the hands of the heroes/ some new enemy, she's far too unbearable to tolerate compared to the anime.

have they been pumping up this hinowa character a lot in the new series? and why'd tatsumi turn into a dragon?

It's only been three chapters since the Hinowa Ga Crush started after Akame Ga Kill manga finished. And Tatsumi turned into a dragon in the manga due to overusing Incursio, gradually turning him into the beast that the Teigu was forged from. As for Hinowa, Akame took time to train her and from what I've learned from the previous series, is that whenever things look bright- they go down pretty hard for the heroes. It's still early in Hinowa Ga Crush so its hard to know which direction the manga is going now, but hopefully it won't lead to a passing of the torch from Akame to Hinowa due to dying at the hands of the new enemy.Β

based on the title, sounds like that's what's going to happen. otherwise why name it after the new character? and considering they did the passing of the torch with tatsumi i wouldn't be surprised if the same happens with hinowa
