Description
My own drawing and fanart after I watched the German adult animated neo-noir exploitation/horror film FELIDAE.Francis a cat detective and main protagonist and Bluebeard Francis's best friend.
Felidae is a 1994 German adult animated neo-noir exploitation/horror film directed by Michael Schaack, written by Martin Kluger, Stefaan Schieder and Akif Pirinçci based on the 1989 novel Felidae, produced by Trickompany, and starring Ulrich Tukur, Mario Adorf and Klaus Maria Brandauer. The story centers on domestic house cat Francis and the grisly feline murders taking place in his new neighborhood.
Felidae became infamous for its gruesome and very violent content and disturbing sequences.

What an amazing animated movie I have ever seen since the British animated movies WATERSHIP DOWN and ANIMAL FARM.
The movie FELIDAE is such a dramatic dark German adult animated neo-noir exploitation/horror film from 1994.
And a very different animated movie I never seen before in my life.
The story centers on domestic house cat Francis and the grisly feline murders taking place in his new neighborhood.
Felidae became infamous for its gruesome and very violent content and disturbing sequences.
I got shocked and scared of scary killing and death moments and scenes like when Francis finds Felicity the blind wise female cat found brutally killed a while after they both had a little moment of chat.
I am NOT a enthusiast of horror, dark, gritty, murdering, killing and bloodbath in film.
It feels like THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE with only dangerous, scary and ferocious cats.
But that film is such a amazing and dark animated film I have seen, so I give the film FELIDAE thumbs up from me.

I ahve seen it a few years ago, I must admit that I was very perturbed by it. But I also enjoyed it, oh and I found the scene about Felicity's death to be very sad She looked like an interesting character.
I haven't watch watership down or animal farm, I saw plague dogs and I also found it very sad, but what I enjoyed of that movie is that the dogs are actually dogs, and react like them. They are not humans under a dog's appearence like in most diney films
I will watch the other two some day!

I enjoyed it even though it's animated film. Although I have my great respect to animation.
A very different animated movie I never seen before in my life.
Yeah, the scene really scared me as hell. And also other death scenes that scared the hell out of me, but those poor furried creatures.
Poor Felicity... That good wise blind cat. Awwwww...
I am NOT a enthusiast of horror, dark, gritty, murdering, killing and bloodbath in film.
I have only seen George A. Romero's first zombie film NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968), so that is why.
When I watched FELIDAE for the very first time it feels like THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE with only dangerous, scary and ferocious cats.
I am plan to watch PLAGUE DOGS some day.
I see. As I said before a very different animated movie I never seen before in my life.
ANIMAL FARM is a very nice one based on George Orwell's allegorical novella with the same name from 1945.

I think I'll read the novel first, I really like Orwell's works, I don't know why I didn't read that one yet

Never miss a book which really means to you.
I even got the book BLACK BEAUTY by Anna Sewell.
A real good classical story of a black horse.

I LOVE Felidae. I can't explain why, I just do. The books are extremely darker. Nice drawing BTW.

Ahh yes, this was an amazing movie, despite how gory it is, I thoroughly enjoyed. I actually went out of my way to find the book it's based off of, and it's a great read.
