Many hugs for everyone who voted, thanks to you this pic won the first place!! <3 *dances*LOL. This is for ~ 's contest [link] ^^ I decided make an Akatsuki-version of the Gorillaz album Demon Days

This band isn't very familiar to me, either is the style. Actually this is very much a polar opposite to my painty semi-realism XD but I enjoyed the drawing (and again, finished it wayyy too quickly, sadssdasd)
It's refreshing to try something new, although the colouring was quite tricky. Uggah, whatever, I'm pretty happy with this anyways. Hidan is my personal favourite, surprisingly ^^'Ps. i'm not sure how they actually translate "Akatsuki", but for me it means red moon D:

"Akatsuki" is written with the kanji for "red" (aka) and "moon" (tsuki), but together they mean "dawn". ^^
