since its a cruiser i would make it shorter, most battle ships are 500 meters long

Cruisers are typically 300-400 meters in eve. There is no class int he size range you stated though it probably would be a very long battlecruiser if such things existed. This does have particulars and beginnings of a minmatar ship, but it takes some imagining with duct tape and rust to get it to that point. None the less i do see this as a worthy and competable submission to the contest and excellenct in most of its factors including the presentation and quality of the model.

I just found out about the contest. Seems like i don't have to take part in it since the first place is already obtained. Great work....might even be a littlebit tooo much detail for Eve. Don't think the engine can handle it, unless you also have a lowpolymodel with a normal map.

great design, very boxy and rugged. Proper things for battleship.

pretty sweet design, if i had to place it somewhere. I'd place that design with the caldari race. They like to have that kind of design, of a kind of boxy exterior or some what, no smooth edges or like the stuff from the amarr or the gallente and they have that blue tint to their ship as well. From the time I played Eve online this could be an add on to the caldari for a turret gun boat since caldari is main focusing on missiles
