History:

Where he originated from, beyond another dimensionm, is unknown. He refuses to elaborate on any world other than this one, claiming that "knowing the mystery takes the fun out of it!". At most he will talk about his time on this plane, which frankly he doesn't have a lot to say about either. Unless you're satisfied with "I popped in for a spell and saw a few more of my kind hanging about! Figured I'd stop and give 'er the ol' college try, ey?"

Personality:

Mischevious and a prankster to a fault. Given the near-indestructible nature of his kind combined with a disregard for the rules or logic of visited worlds (given he can leave at nearly any time) means he rarely has the foresight to see when a joke would be pushing a line until people are already upset. Of course even if he did, it likely wouldn't deter him all too much as he just kind of likes watching the chaos of things unfold in front of him. Not actively malicious, just has a very specific idea of fun and rarely changes it to suit others.

Body is made of a substence not disimilar to mercury in that it's a metal who's natural state at room temperature isn't entirely solid. Probably about as poisonous as it too. Would not recommend a taste test.
Is a cut-ear rank mimic.
Is very terrible at stealth, as is to probably be expected from one glance at him. His usual sucesses stem from the creatures cursiously drawn in by the song that plays from his box prior to him popping out.
Yes, the song does have to play and the crank has to turn before he can open the lid. This is not optional.

Abilities and Powers:

~ Maleability: Being a slime, Jax is able to grow, shrink, stretch, squash, and otherwise mold their body as suited. This does not apply to the box, or any other container he's in, as that's not part of his true body.

~ Mirror Shift: Mirror Mimics are able to travel between dimensions via entering mirrors.

~ Invulnerability: Mirror Mimics are unable to be mortally wounded like most mortal things. Instead, massive damage will cause their form to melt into a core ball of slime until such time as they are able to regenerate the rest of their bodies.

~ Reflective Surface: As the name mirror suggests, the hair of a mirror mimic will reflect like a mirror.

~ Misc Mirror Mimic powers to be further laid out by Vera in the future.

~ Poisonous. Do not attempt to eat the Jax.
