YES COMIC HELP. This is wonderful~
I have a question, actually. Do you sketch panels individually, or the page as a whole, and if the latter, on what kind of paper? :3

I do both! I will often TRY to do all the pictures on one page so I can see how the panels interact- especially if I'm trying to keep the layout interesting. But sometimes, a doodle or an random pic will fit better. OR, I didn't have enough time so I drew on what or where I could. I draw on EVERYTHING- lined, construction paper, printer paper. I scan it all in later and draw over it anyway ^_^

Works on firefox for me. What browser are you using or perhaps screen resolution?

I'm using firefox- but now it seems to be working. DA probably farted or something when I was having issues
Btw, thanks for explaining the color palate. I think I have a better understanding of how I should experiment with shading now. ^^

Wonderful tutorial, makes everything somewhat clear
But what I'm still wondering: as soon as you trace the lines, you already give them the colours you want them to be. That pretty much sets your colour scheme, already, doesn't it? Does that mean you've decided on the colours before you even start drawing? (ofcourse, with a comic, it's logical you choose the colours based on previous pages, but I just wondered how you do it for normal drawings or something ) I hope I made sense XD

I have a set color chart as a base. But that doesn't mean the final colour scheem is set in stone. Depending on the mood, setting and how the characters feel (sick, embarressed, or dead) I will either change their individual colours or I'll add a filter.

Wow... this is so great! Lol, I have issues trying to define my drawings in PS. They always come out so... flat. D: Shading is ever a doozey. T-T But I totally reckon I'll give your approach a go.
Thankies for making a spiffy tutorial ((that I can understand! xD))!

This must be the first tutorial I've ever read on DA! I like how you made Dor orange underneath Step 3, hehe.

Gweeeeeee! Nifty tutorial, I shall have to go and, er... uhm... do stuff. First I have to practise drawing and then get photoshopt elements and, uhm... come up with a comic!
Yay, I have a list!
Love the expressions (can I glomp Dor yet?)
