I need a name for this fella... suggestions?

[Name] was born in a average home with a nice family, but disappeared one day. He was thought to have run away, but a year until a man said that he knew where [Name] was. He led them to a abandoned house, explaining that the boy was tied up in a room. He claimed the door was locked and the boy was asleep in the chair.
When the officers made it to the room, they saw the boy sitting in the chair. When they managed to get the door open, he wasn't there, and instead there was a note, written in a thick black ooze that read, "TOOO LAAATTE..." The officers looked for the boy, and one found another note, "GIIVVE MEEE AAA HHANNDD." The officer looked confused until he found a hand that appeared to have been chewed off. The black ooze was leaking from the hand, and a path of it lead behind the officer.
