I gave the man some glasses so you could actually tell his emotions through more than just his hands. He only wears his glasses when he's interacting with others. He just doesn't like having any part of his face visible.

His book is super thick from having so many enchantments written down, he also writes down potion recipes as well. He can't even close the book because of how many pages he's put in. He writes with feather quills and uses the enchantment table language (I have no idea what it's called).

He'll enchant your items with random enchantments if you want something enchanted. Don't try and ask for something specific or he'll kick you out of the enchantment room (technically the library and his room). If you bother him enough he'll put a pumpkin cursed with binding on your head (backwards if he's extra annoyed) and curse all your tools with vanishing.

Canter's gloves are soft to the touch and very easy to tear. He is extra careful in keeping away from the sharp ends of tools. He refuses to even touch swords and will most likely deny enchantment requests on swords.
Yeah those are diamonds on his gloves.

His shadow shows his whole body, but it always keeps shifting shapes when you look at it. Canter really doesn't want anyone to know what he looks like. The one thing that's been revealed is that he has feathers (he doesn't like that Axolon noticed that). Canter uses his shed feathers as quills.

And we can't forget Lazuli! She is Canter's familiar. She's a blind lapis salamander (she don't have eyes). Canter can only perform level one enchantments without her help.

Oh wait- yeah. Canter lives in the library in Axolon's house. The two are close buddies and Axolon happily let's Canter stay inside.

Canter loves bread. So that's what Axolon gives him whenever he comes out of the library looking for food. He can't even eat meat so he just wants bread.
