Description
This is Inkelous! He is a shadow weaver. I'm going to be drawing him for the inktober prompts this year.Shadow weavers are S. Weaver for short
Dream weavers are D. Weaver for short
Shadow weavers are another sub species of weavers. Shadow weavers are only able to form outside of a solid when in shadows. Pointing any sort of light at their ink will burn them and petrify the burned surface. The physical area around them when formed is covered in a black/white monochrome atmosphere and the temperature drops multiple degrees.
A shadow weaver's ink is different than the other species of weavers, it is smoky to the touch. The nearer ink to your vision is more visible than further ink, hence the way I drew Inkelous (that explanation sucks and doesn't make as much sense as I wanted).
S. Weavers have full shapeshifting abilities, but can only use shapes of things they have seen.
As with the lore of weavers (probably haven't shared this lore yet) being created from the souls of broken human children, most S. Weavers form as common household animals, some occasionally form as cores.
Containment of S. Weavers works the same as other weavers.
