Description (What would be a suitable category to put this one in...?)

(And yes, I also used the time-tested camera-in-the-dark technique!)

Okay, so last week, there I was, generally brooding and feeling uninspired, and I took a (frankly short) break.

Then this piece of software arrives a short time ago!

Yes, these are my first two microgames in WarioWare D.I.Y! And since I'm posting a few screens here as this M.F.S, naturally my first instinct was to make something like these!

The actual first game is on the left hand column of crappy camera snapshots: "Kick 'Em Up".

Here's 666! Who's looking a little different and oddly proportioned; I was just coming to grips with the limitation of the Game MakerMatic's graphic system...

The command says "Boots Off!" It requires that both boots are tapped to take 'em off! Simple!

The second microgame on the right was a little more complex: "Mia Says..." featuring my favourite girl Mia! (and Daisy, for some reason. It was going to be Taylor at first, but I changed it at the last moment!)

Mia gives one of four randomly chosen commands (to do to her feet, obviously!) and you have to tap the right button to do it. You only have one chance, though; choose the wrong button, or take too long, and you lose!

There's a ton more AI (Action Instructions) in this one than the last, especially concerning multiple triggers and creating ways to randomize things (Check the Assembly Dojo for stuff like that!)

Anyway, I really enjoyed using the Super MakerMatic 21 (as it's called in-game), spending my spare time making these games (and 4 panel comics... and music)! When I have the time, I could show you more in the future - unless this becomes a featured example on internet "articles" ragging on people like myself... or not.

D.I.Y Super MakerMatic 21 Engine (C) Nintendo, Intelligent Systems 2009. 2010

Characters, Microgames (C) M.F.S Software 2010

EDIT: I've seen the comments so far, asking if they can download these microgames I've made. Well, that's what the Distribution Center is for! All we have to do is exchange Friend Codes (You'll need to be connected to Nintendo WFC to do this!), and I'll ship my games for you to play! (and music and comics, maybe). Thing is, I can only send two of each type at a time (2 games, 2 comics, e.t.c), but since I have only two here, it's not much of a problem right now!

I'm not placing my Friend Code here - for safety reasons, you will have to note me providing your Friend Code, and I'll give you mine!

And I'm not entirely familiar with the system either. I'll likely have to stay connected (with my DS) if you want to download my stuff - let me know if you're on Nintendo WFC!

Oh, you have the R4? I've hear the game's having problems on many flashcarts, R4 included. You can look for updates for your firmware or find a patched version of the game.

I only got mine working because of my firmware, and I'm using a different flashcart (Acekard 2.1)

Ever since that Warioware D.I.Y. came out I've wanted to make my own micro mini games to play, especually Foot related stuff

I hope that they have an online thing, cause I'd sure like to play any of the games you make

Thanks!

There is an online thing, however...

Let me know if you can get your DS connected to Nintendo WFC - so we can register each other as friends!
