Description
A private commission for I drew last year, but I got his approval to post here!If there's one thing to take away from this, it's that Amy (the Lilligant) is very disciplined, resisting the foot-fetish antics of Umi... Unfortunately Eria isn't handling it as well as Amy is. Why is Umi under the table anyway?

GODAMN, super sexy and humerous scenario, love the complete opposite reactions of the two, and any lady that can handle a licking like that is a true lady!

Keep her composure ehh? Tell that to Rosie. Rosie has zero composure. I think Alyssa's been trying to teach her that "secret Alolan art" but it has been failing...a lot.
I dunno what it is about how you draw Nihilegos with tongues really long and stuff, but they always seem to do some damage on whatever they can lick up! Heheh, no Toxic Status hopefully, although that's an excuse to rub Amy's feet with medicine for Eria, right?

That is awesome man, his Lilligant acts almost exactly like one of mine

We need more under-table foot worship pics. Seeing this reminds me that there aren't enough of them!

Yay, more Trainer Eria XD
I'd be a little wary of letting Eria's Nihilego do something like this, unless she has full control of her toxins XD

Very cute pic. Always thought that tickling and foot worship under a table is a fun idea.

I love Lilligant! Sure, it might not have much type coverage, relying a lot on grass type moves, but put it in front of a Water, Rock, or Ground type, and watch it clean house!

You know, and that's how I felt about my Lurantis in Sun, but yeah...sigh...Game Freak, you're buffing Lurantis in Gen 8, you hear?
Anywho, strangely, I always end up getting the version Lilligant is not in. So I have like, no experience using one really. I could have sworn I saw a wild Petilil in Sun because a CERTAIN boss trainer uses a Lilligant and I'm like "Hmm...they wouldn't bias toward one version, would they?" Then i remembered the whole Zard X thing and yeah.

Lurantis is great!...
Buuuuuuut they made Tsareena, which I prefer. It's actually rather unfortunate though; besides special attack, which NEITHER of them should ever use given their stat spread and attacks they can learn, Tsareena is literally better in every stat. Which is rather sad XD. I mean, it happens all the time, but usually Pokemon have some way of distinguishing themselves some way from the competition. In Tsareena and Lurantis' case, I mean, sure, Lurantis has more access to grass moves, and quite a few better ones than Trop Kick, but Tsareena's attack so easily trumps Lurantis' that she easily makes up the difference.

Oh, but you forget, Lurantis has Contrary!
Oh, but I forget! So does...Serperior...who is way faster and is bulkier and has a better movepool for it and...yeah...
I'm deathly obsessed with Lurantis for some reason, so yeah. A huge issue I have is that they released several Pokemon in SM with similar stat profiles to Lurantis (hell, Incineroar's stats are all either equal or better than Lurantis despite the completely different typing and whatnot), and even in Grass, you have Tsareena, Dhelmise, Decidueye, Tapu Bulu...yeah. A lot of people say Lurantis should have been fast to differentiate, and thenthere's the counter argument that mantises are slow IRL...which explains a lot about Scyther and Leavanny. (92 is still decent, not 100 gold standard, I know, but whatever) At this point, considering that Game Freak almost never completely overhauls a Pokemon's stats that drastically though...I don't even know what they can do.
They literally designed her around the Totem fight is the issue. Everyone had an issue with that fight (I didn't, in both versions she died to one Z Move) but I'll bet you the reason she's so slow is because they didn't have a Speed Boost Totem and they were like, "shit, we gotta have a speed boost somewhere. Quick, let's make Lurantis slow!" I mean, everyone pre release seemed to think Lurantis would be fast, sooo...yeah. Considering there are stronger SM Pokemon with better abilities...I mean, Lurantis doesn't even get a unique ability. Here's hoping in USun and UMoon she gets something. Maybe a Z move bound to Solar Blade that brings out Sun would help her out. I know that would be broken on anyone else, but this is Lurantis we're talking about here. Smogon says she's worse than Servine FFS.

Don't worry, you're in a sanctuary here; I hate competitive play for two reasons; nothing but fucking stealth rock and 'oh, this pokemon is good, but it has a speed of 92 which is somehow not good while this Pokemon has a speed of 93!' Then you look at that Pokemon and it's like, 'It's good, but it's speed isn't as good as this!'
I get it. Speed is major. Attacking first and all that shit is alwwwwaaaaaaaays major, but I fucking hate how so many cool Pokemon are left in the dust because they just aren't fast enough.
So no, do not worry, I don't care about speed here. I don't care if your speed is 92 or 100, I care about the other stats.

I tend to avoid competitive play in most games due to my massive phobia of elitists in general. Nothing better than a good ol' dosage of judgment for the self esteem, ehh? But I used to dabble in competitive Pokemon in Gens 4 and 5. Gen 5 was the worst because Weather Wars. Don't get me started on weather wars. And this is coming from someone who is otherwise a Gen 5 fanboy.
But yeah, I made a post about speed somewhere. Like, my Krookodile in BW obviously had 92 speed and it outsped EVERYTHING in BW somehow, but if you use a base 100 in Competitive, you can use Dragon Dance, baton Pass off a Blaziken, get a Salac Berry Boost, and maybe, just maybe, you'll be a little faster than that Garchomp over there.
Oh, wait, Blaziken's banned.

Yeah, everything is built off being faster than a few select Pokemon. I'm so glad Trick Room exists.

Which, by the way, Alolan Exeggutor has over Lurantis.
