Funny you mention that! I bought an extra F-Type Revoltech and am currently painting it to look like this! When I am done I'll slap the EVA 03 head on it and post it!

I actually did do this as a model kit bash like you suggested, I also did it with the F-Type revoltech figures.
Thanks for all the compliments! As for a unit 04, it's not high on my list to do because in my opinion it's color scheme is lame. However, One of these days I might. Keep watching!

The scheme does seem bland, but if one was to put warning logos and hazard warnings in certain areas, it could look like an unpainted unit. lol.

The only other units that I have seen in the F-Type Equipment are as follows:
I saw a Unit 00 blue in F-type armor in some hobby magazine several years ago. I have searched the net for it, but to no avail, so I assume it was a home made job.
Also, there were some f-type trading figures that came out around the same type, the collection was called "Evangelion Characters Type F 1" which had Eva 01, 00 (yellow), and 02 in f-type armor. They're pretty sweet. Here's a link to a page with them:

As for units beyond 02, there have been no release of any of them until now.
What I did after I made the 03 Eva F-type was buy another model kit of the Eva 01 F-type and then paint it my custom colors. Since I already had the original models, I just transplant the head from the one to the newly painted body and voila! My very own EVA 03 F-Type!

I saw the same linked picture in a magazine once and have wanted to find it for ages so I could figure out an approximate color scheme to use on a kit to transfer my unit 02's head to ^_^

Do you own any of the kaiyodo revoltech eva figures?

I have 01(Type-F), 02, 00(Yellow), 04, and the Mass Production(Wing)

I also have the older Kaiyodo Eva units 01 and 00, same company but these 2 are bigger in size, better in sculpt, but the articulation isn't nearly as good as the revoltech evas
