She was lucky to have gotten into a cage safely after striking the spotted hunter that brought her in, and in that time it was like time had stopped. She was a feisty cub, always had been. She'd always had cubs to make fun of and parents to dote on- Her brothers to pout about and sometimes goof off with. She missed her dad... - Her momma who did her curl just right... Rio...

Rio. Maggie let her thoughts roll around as she blinked open to the same brick wall she'd been seeing for months now. A metal bowl cornered her enclosure, empty and stained with the irony residue that caked her meals. She wasn't mistreated, being merely a cub when she was brought in - In fact nobody talked to her at all. The only attention she received was the .. praise? for having the guts to hit the mighty Elite. Whatever that meant-...

Cling cling-

An ear swiveled around, knowing the sound all too well as a chime for dinner. She counted most cats stupid for not obeying the city cats and biped creatures- They fed them and kept them alive. It was attention. Magpie liked attention. The difference this time however, was the absence of her metal bowl being scrapped over. Curiosity struck her then. What was this thing doing? The creature paused at the bars, and held his hand out just enough so she could potentially grab the raw strip of beef dangling from his fingers. Maggie almost wasnt sure what to do. Well, until her paws - heavy with a brace upon her back foot - met the floor, and blue eyes met brown. She sniffed the cut hesitantly, making sure what she was doing was alright. It was still strange - and he smelled bad. But they'd already cleaned the kill for her. How kind, they must've known she hated plucking feathers.

And so, she took it. He seemed to of wanted to pet her but before given the chance, Maggie had ducked away. She didn't like being touched.
