Griffon expressed a snort as her last comment roused the conversation, a weak purr rattling his chest at her contact. With each lingering word that made its way into the night, the Tiguar didn’t know rather to feel proud of her childish word play, or feel…. Extremely lucky he’d snatched her when he had the chance. A swift smirk cornered his grin, his once before toothy expression closing so his lips met. “Darlin’ – This tease just grows greater the later it gets. Hang on tight.” He playfully nipped the air next to her nose, a subtle click leaving his jaws as his fangs came into contact. His gaze fell upon the darkening sky, the faint sight of stars opaquely creeping into view. “Hm… I suppose the greenery could be left out next time- However…” With a grunt, the orange mutt found his feet and slowly made his way to the edge of the outlook, turning and placing his paw just behind the rock he was previously eyeing. Mossy orbs met gold. “After this.. I don’t think there will be a next time” Griff murmured with soft eyes, still… that hint of daring and flirtatious tone lace his being.

She stuck her tongue out at his playful jest of a bite, pretending to be offended for half a moment before the playful light of a joke appeared in her eyes. The playful moment ended when Tolmi's eyes locked with his all of the sudden, her breath hitching in her throat. Griffon's gaze was intense, yet soft and loving. She could see something resembling nervousness in those depths, but before she had the chance to open her splotched maw and ask what's as the matter, he was heaving himself to his paws and walking away from her. For a moment the panic that had gripped her in the cages returned- he was leaving her, he wasn't having fun right now- before the female reminded herself that this was Griffon and they had spent the past couple moments essentially telling each other they were in love. At this thought, her cheeks burned. But for once she didn't mind. "What... What are you doing?" She asked softly, tilting her head while shooting a quizzical look in his direction. He was being rather cryptic, in fact he had been cryptic all night long. She had just brushed it off as Griffon being Griffon, but now she wasn't so sure. "The last... date?"

It was then panic settled into his heart- the confused and hurt expression that flushed her face hit him like a bullet, but through it all… he could only smile. Smile because he knew – things would be okay. Smile because that worry would be lifted soon. Gulping, his gaze fell upon a small cloth sack, ears pinned back before the mutt made eye contact with Tolmi once more. “What am I doing?” A weak chuckle slipped out from his jaws “Hopefully granting your wishes to the best of my ability”. With that the large male extended a single claw , and slowly dragged the small bag in front of himself- clearly in view of the Cheegar. “As far as dates go- I doubt we’ll need them if this goes the way I’d like.” Griffon cleared his throat and scooted forward a bit more. “Tolmi- you are my world. Words.. cannot express how much I love and treasure you. You are all that is good in this life, and the light of mylife. 2 years strong now- from the chicken scratch of a race, to the hard times of Apprenticeship… to now.” Griffon bent down to nip the corner of the enclosure, and with a clink- two silverfish blue braces fell from its hold- each holding a unique stone in its center. A green gem, & a golden one. With a shaky yet steady breath, a smirk curled his lips. “Would you be mine for good? For better or for worst- I can’t let you slip away again… and hell I’ll do my damn best to hold that promise too.”
