Description This is not a good photo, I know, but I've decided to upload it as I consider this to be a rare sighting for where I live. This is a SwissHeli Kamov KA-32A12, HB-XKE. It is a coaxial heavy lifter mainly used in inaccessible geographical locations, such as alpine areas. I have no idea why this would have been near me.

Yeah, I thought Kamovs were a bit rare outside of the former Soviet Bloc and eastern Europe. It's an interesting sight, with its funky coaxial rotors and stubby fuselage.
