Personality: Draven is very stoic. Sometimes people mistake him for a cranky type but really he's just a bit shy around new people. He is very fatherly and kind to everyone unless they prove to be a nuisance... Sometimes, mostly to girls, he can come off as romantic but, he hasn't ever had feelings like that before. He is very confident and not afraid to correct people. However, he is not rude about corrections and only does so if it's important. He loves reading and rainy or cloudy days.
When you get to know him better, he is very playful. He loves spending time acting with close friends, even if they're not great at it. Despite being quiet, he has no problem being put on the spot if needed. Overall he loves helping others but, it can be hard to get him to open up. It's definitely not uncommon for other villagers to be scared of him. His choice of residence is always in cedar forests and he usually tries to plant dark flowers around. Sometimes he includes yellow cosmos.
History: Draven was the first resident of a town now named "Theta." The mayor was a young girl who didn't talk much but was full of spirit. She slowly won him over and they've been best friends since! Now Draven has decided to venture out and explore new places but, he knows home will always be waiting...
Because of his overall aesthetic, Draven has had plenty of rumors spread about him. It's pretty uncommon for him to invite people into his house. Villagers started theorizing about what creepy or even horrible things he has. Really though he just thinks nobody wants to hang out in his dreary house. Some villagers ask about his clothes, "Why does he wear that hood?? What's with the shackle-things as jewelry???" Simply put, he thinks its cool.
There's plenty more but none with any real basis.

Of course! I love any art of my characters, even if it's a surprise! (So long as it's not like super inappropriate X,D) Draven is pretty tolerant, he usually goes towards confused before annoyed buuut it's not completely unlikely haha

Aw~... Excited! I don't consider myself very good at drawing birds, Draven's a bit easier since he doesn't have a defined beak but hoods used to be my one clothing enemy... Drawing him a lot I've gotten more used to them but still end up redrawing sometimes XD

Hate to barge in, but a villager’s catchphrase isn’t really a catchphrase. It’s what they say at the end of their sentences sometimes. For example, I have a character who’s catchphrase is “snarl”. So he talks like this:
”What’s going on over t-there, snarl...? At the lake... it seems... shiny.”
Of course, the use of villager catchphrases vary from person to person, some people use it a ton, some people don’t use them at all, and it’s mainly boils down to a writing preference thing.
Hopefully that clears things up, unless you were just joking then I’m just looking like an idiot... XD
