Enid was originally brought to the Nook as an egg almost immediately after she was laid. An older couple living nearby Wynsiph was entranced by the speckled purple egg and adopted her. After she hatched, however, her tendency to kick everything resulted in her being brought back to the Nook, but she didn't really care. She couldn't be bothered to care. There are several dents in the walls in her room.
