I started this a couple days ago. Have an art contest to submit to at the library, and decided to draw Redwall stuff for it, so i started, in the upper left, some Tsarmina Greeneyes studies, starting with a drawing of a cat from a legit image of a cat, moving on to how she looks on the back cover of "Mossflower" (colored) and ending with some freehand stuff (snarling+). This happened to be the same day i recieved and played Rayman Origins, so naturally i had to draw the games sexiest character, Betilla the Nymph, immediately. What else is there to do?? I attempted to "stylize" her after successfully line-shading her in-game sprite (colored), and that worked out poorly. Design one has a poop face, design two is not all that bad but somehow unnecessary.

I shifted back to Redwall to draw Martin the Warrior, using the same process as i did to study Tsarmina; by drawing a real mouse, drawing him how he looks on the cover of "Martin the Warrior" (colored), and then going off on my own. I went back once again to draw Rayman and Globox's in game sprites (both colored), and that was that. This was a lot of fun, now if only i could master a really intense composition of a bruised and bloodstained Martin slicing a ferocious snarling Tsarmina across the back as the two tangle in mortal combat, then I'd be all good for the contest.
