I hope you're not implying that's slow.
The eyes look a bit to bright, though. And the stripes on the tie look too "strokey", too flat.

Oh, it's probably me comparing myself to much more skilled people again.
I'd like to think that experts can do a much more solid base in less time.

You got a whole lot closer to the likeness then the vast majority of the thread.
Good strokes and lots of good values.
I think (don't quote me on this.) his right (our left) eye is tilted a bit more inward on the ref, the crease at the corner of his mouth isn't large enough/defined enough, the highlights to the left of the face are a bit too bright and the end of his nose is a little too small. All around I think yours just looks like a younger version of the ref. Any other problems are simply beyond my skill/understanding.

Thanks. I've been wondering wether i managed to get the likeness down or not.
But yeah, i definitely neglected those creases in his cheeks, among many other things.
Also i think the eyes are too big...
Anyways, appreciate the feedback!
