It was strange seeing him in srb2 without the Cape and wings, nonetheless, awesome design, and awesome picture.

For him to have wings in SRB2, the stage he's in would need to be a lot more complex than simply an arena for fighting. Although I do admit I always liked his cape.

Guess so. But seeing the changes Lua brought upon, I don't think making a boss battle with him taking to the skies would to be too hard, like instead of that cannon which he fires which the player can only dodge by hiding behind those random...things, he could take to the sky and try to make some type of Arial attack which the player must dodge with speed and accuracy.
How did you make this work of art? As in programs and methods and such?

Heh... I only watched this film in Japanese with subs, this guy was called "Black Eggman" there.

I actually saw this movie not too long ago, it kinda has a dragon balls Z vibe to it. (how ironic since super sonic is based on that.)
da fug was the plot again? it's just as bouncy and confusing as those "spinning barrels" from carnival night zone when you first see it.
though i did like the design for metal robotnik, I'm Surprised they never actually tried to use as a boss in a real game.
man, if that's a "lil' sketch" I'd love to see a "complete" piece or art.

I usually don't mention fan games, but Metal Robotnik (referred as Brak Eggman in the game) is actually the final boss in Sonic Robo Blast 2. You know, that one game that took more than a decade on development, and they are still working on it.
When you check it out, remember to appreciate the fuck out of Knuckles' sprites. I made them myself, and it was the biggest waste of time
