More Elphie Art. Actually, this is only my third Wicked drawing, and considering the fan I am, that isn't very much!! Haha, life is busy.I did this some weeks ago, but not until today did I have the drawing and my scanner in the same place.
As always, I was attempting Stephanie J. Block, my fave Elphie. She is currently reprising the role, now on Broadway (FINALLY--so happy she is getting this recognision and opportunity)!! I've sent her a picture everytime she has gone into a role. So here it is, hurrah.
As always, I'm not 100% happy with it. I'd share the details, but to be blunt and honest, I'm tired and am about to fall asleep at the computer (should have done this upload tomorrow morning, haha, I have no patience).

I know that you say you cannot draw people, but here is your proof that you can! The face looks very real with a very real expression and I really like how the hair is shiny. The light in the background is a very nice effect. You have been producing a lot of full color drawings lately! They look great!

I actually don't like the shine in the hair. It is too strong. I see other people do it similiarly, but something isn't quite right when I do it. Oh well, that's why we practice ....

It looks like a scene from The Wizard and I (despite the hat) when she's still hopeful.

It's hard not to like, if you grew up watching the Wizard of OZ as a kid then remembering it all and then see Wicked this is basically pleasing to the soul.
