this piece represents how i see my friends. some of them are very good at throwing out signals and acting as if there ok and there lives are just fine but quite often then not, if you dig a little deeper and get past the acting and the beautiful colours of there personality. you sometimes find that there not ok.... and really need a friendly helping hand, one human being to another.otherwise..
what are friends for?...

I like the concept. Its probebly a matter of taste, but i might have faded the help just a little more, or maybe the same size with a less attension grabbing color because it has so much negitive space to gravitate you immeditally towards your message(I assume you want somones eye to travel around the piece and then notice help a little later, becasue its obscured by the rest of the composition)

thanks for your comment...i kinda designed this piece especially for being presented on deviant art because i realised that most of the time people dont see the full size version of your piece, instead more often than not they see a thumbnail, so i decided to play on this fact and tried to make the viewer get drawn in with the pretty colours but if they looked closer, there would be some kind of writting or something in the piece (which you can read even as a thumbnail i know) but i thought it might have interested the more adventurous eye to go into the thumbnail to take a closer look. then from there they would read the artist comment and find some kind of symbolic similarities to the action they just took and what the piece actually represents...... which is why i decided to make the word stand out as much as possible and although fading it would have made for more, of a less clear mystery as a thumbnail, it wouldnt have been as striking as i wanted it to be, as a full view......
its abit complicated and i'm not very good at explaining things so i might have just confused alot of people......

Yes thats a very good reason(that conept didnt even pass my mind(blushes)). I live under the delusion that people look at my pieces full size(realy stopped to question that line of reasoning), but thats not the reality for almost everone here. I think maybe one in 8 looks at my stuff fully, that idea didnt even dawn on me. THe only thought iv put into a composition when it comes to the thumbnail is, do I have a border or colors that stand out from the rest of the pics out there. So food for thoughts.

...friends are there to help us, but I discoverer this only a few weeks ago...
I like the colors, it looks realy poetic and calm, and at the same time, there is this "help" in the middle...
