Description
Here is the first of a group of fanart projects I've got lined up:a prize/gift art for , Della Duck from her story "The Sincere Fraud" [link] .
Della, Donald's sister, just got out of jail and she's anxious to find her boys, Huey, Dewey and Louie and be part of their lives again. Needless to say, that's about to complicate things for all parties involved...
Media used: Watercolor and sketch pencils, black pen on manila paper (edited to black and white by HP Photosmart).
Della Duck (c) by Gemstone Publications and Disney. The Sincere Fraud (c) by ~CommanderD . Artwork (c) by me.

Very nice! ^^ I always find ducks' beaks hard to draw, but this one is good drawn!

Why, thank you! The beaks do seem to be pretty hard to do, but I lucked out with this one.
The hands are really hardest of all for me, which is one reason she's got them in her pockets!

You're welcome! ^^
I agree. Hands are the hardest part to draw.

Awww! I'm very flattered. I wanted a sad look in the eyes, so I guess
I did it right! Thanks.

Thank you!!!
It was originally a full-body drawing, but her feet and legs were
a wee big, so I "amputated" them. Other than that, though, Della was surprisingly
easy to do. I did use her pic in that family tree in LTo$ as a reference, but I only looked
at it.
Hope the other piccies will be easy as well! (Though I still don't know what would like just yet. )

Thank you! She was pretty easy to do, believe it or not. Guess I'm finally starting to get the rust off my drawing hand!

You're very welcome, doll! It was supposed to be a leather jacket she was wearing at first, but I made it a little more like a "hoodie". Since she'd just gotten out of the slammer, and of course was low on money, I imagined her looking a little drab and with a sad, uncertain expression.
(I'll send you the original later on. Thanks for the fave! )

She certainly seems like a leather-wearing gal. Once she can talk Uncle Scrooge into letting her borrow more money (ie, when "the hot place" freezes over ), maybe she'll get one eventually!
No problem! I can't wait to see it live and in person.

Yep, good luck on getting that old tightwad---uh, guy to squeeze out a few more cents!
Maybe she can go to Goodwill and find one.
The original will look different, since it's on manila paper. I edited it in black and white with
my Photosmart program before I uploaded it. I can print out that version for you as well.

I read it when was still working on it, so each chapter was a cliffhanger for me (especially when poor Scrooge had that heart attack)! She's a good writer.
