EDIT: I should've known there was a site for this project xD They're actually kids in orphanages and this project's done to give them a memory of their youth, and so they can cherish it/see themselves as works of art. This gives a better explanation [link]

I can't believe I'm finally done with this ;w; I mean, I really enjoyed working on it but... oh gosh, so much work... not to mention, most of it was rushed because I thought the due date was earlier and I had procrastinated a LOT xD Stayed up super late to work on it, spent another hour trying to come up with an excuse for why it wasn't finished, was late to school the next day... Fast acting karma, I guess xDD OTL I wish I could fix the scratches on his cheek and touch up colors, but this isn't Photoshop xD Also, his one eye is too low and open too much... ARGH, WHY AM I SO METICULOUS snfkghj someone slap meeee xDD

But yes, the Memory Project. The NAHS(National Art Honor Society) at my school does this. We each get a photo of a child and we have to draw them. I really felt a connection while drawing this, and seeing how happy he was when he recieved it made me beam. I'm so glad I was able to make a little boy happy

He does have a name, but I'm not allowed to disclose it xD
