Now that you've seen the fencing that is home to Mango the Jaguar cub, you might understand why it's incredibly hard to photograph the adults. Especially Raja, the male, who's head is just a bit bigger too Still pretty happy with this shot, despite the fencing on the sides. While Maya's markings aren't overly visible, with a look at Mango's Dad, you can sort of tell where he gets his markings from.

Latin name: Panthera Onca

Originates from the Americas.

Current status: Near Threatened

Did you know:

…On the surface, the Jaguar resembles a Leopard, but he’s larger and of sturdier build, has bigger set spots, and it’s behavioral and habitat characteristics, are more like that of a Tiger.
